The first weekend of February is the

Tune Junkie Weekend!

A weekend of community and Traditional Irish Music. There are workshops for musicians who want to know more about Traditional Irish Music, first hand. And the Ceili Dance and Showcase concert for everyone to enjoy.

The event starts Friday night with a Ceili Dance, Irish session, open house, and potluck dinner. People can register for the weekend, buy tickets for the Saturday night concert and hear some great music. Feel free to bring a dish to share!

Saturday is the big day and consists of workshop sessions teaching Irish Whistle, Fiddle, Guitar, Bodhran, Uilleann Pipes and more! There is also a Master Class performance lecture for those who want to know more and a slow session to help teach tunes and introduce players to the Irish session community.

The big finale is Saturday night when musicians from all over the Southeast and East Coast come together for a fantastic show of Irish tunes and songs! But wait there's more!!!! Once the concert ends all of the weekends participants gather for one last session and play til......well, until they are done.

This weekend is about friends.

The ones we know and those we are about to meet.
