  • The Session is where musicians familiar with the traditional dance tunes and airs of Ireland gather to play together for fun and camaraderie.

    Our local session is hosted by Chad Beauchaine and Gil Draper on the first and third Thursday of every month at Boyds Jig and Reel in Knoxville, TN starting at 7:15PM

  • It has long been the goal of Traditional Irish Arts of Knoxville to host a concert series highlighting the best in Tradition Irish Music. So we continue to set ourselves to just such a task in our second annual concert series.

  • House Concerts are small, intimate acoustic performances hosted in the home of a member of the community. This is the greatest way to experience Traditional Music in its purest form.

    Up Next: The East Coasters

    As these concerts are hosted in peoples homes, seating is limited and is on a first come first serve basis.

    House Concerts are not regular events and will be posted with as much lead time as possible.

Celtic Concert Series - Cassie and Maggie

Traditional Irish Arts of Knoxville, in partnership with Jubilee Community Arts and Boyd’s Jig & Reel, is proud to present Cassie and Maggie - a sister duo from Nova Scotia. Cassie and Maggie will bring the tunes and songs of Nova Scotia on fiddle, guitar, vocals, and piano to Knoxville TN for a night of world class music. Join us Friday, October 17th at the Historic Laurel Theater. The performance will begin at 8pm.

With over 17 combined Canadian Folk Music, East Coast Music, and Music Nova Scotia awards and nominations, the JUNO-Nominated powerhouse duo, Cassie and Maggie, emerge as an unstoppable force on the global folk stage. Unleashing a magnetic energy, they seamlessly weave their deep Celtic heritage with contemporary influences.
